Some people also believe that going vegan helps keep your body permanently free of toxins. But again, what would work better for you is something that only you can decide. 3. Choose the products wisely – Every diet that you would find will have certain food items which might or might not be readily available at your place. Every country has its own range of fruits and vegetables which again vary with every season. So we need to make sure that we are making using of the local products which are available at reasonable prices with good quality instead of expensive imported stuff. So if a diet lists blueberries as the antioxidants that you should eat daily, but it’s not available at the local farmers’ market, then it much wiser to substitute it with a fruit or vegetable that is available and offers you the same benefit eg. raisins, plums, oranges, grapes, cherries and the list goes on. So always keep in mind that there are always more options available than the ones listed in your preferred diet plan.
