My name is Donna. I reside in the beautiful northeastern part of the US often referred to as New England. This is a fairly recent move so to cover the most common question because I’ve come to find out this is huge) I am not a Patriots fan… I’ve never watched a full game of football, and the super bowl doesn’t count because to be honest, I attend for the food.
This goes for 85% of all sporting events, I’m not totally hopeless though. I enjoy watching basketball and soccer. Anyways, as you guessed it. I am five feet, until recently I swore I was 5’1 but let competing at multiple shows to not only confirm my whopping size but to take a dagger my morals and everything I thought I knew about myself.
I thought I’d start this blog to go a little further in documenting my lifestyle or whatever it is you want to call it. I was talking to my sister and realized that I find myself editing and censoring my captions on my Instagram to try to hold a certain look or portray things a certain way.
Honestly, all unintentional but I guess these days not only it is common but its how we try to one-up each other or show that life is great and that in fact, I do brunch better than you… whether we know it or not.
So if you’re reading this, I appreciate you. I’m going to randomly throw things together so I didn’t know exactly how to tag or label this blog. I wanted to do this mostly for myself to keep me sane, to help myself reflect, to be able to look back on who I am as I ” grow up”.
And who knows, maybe help someone who may need to be reminded that its okay to not be perfect and that overeating chocolate or accidentally eating a whole pint of ice cream isn’t the end of the world and you don’t have to punish yourself for it. Sound familiar? Yeah, I think that way too. That’ll be another upcoming post, go more in-depth on that awesome topic.
Till then, I named this blog fit, feisty, and famished because well…. I attempt to be fit or live my lifestyle in a way that I’m constantly active of which I love. Feisty because I am known to be a little sarcastic and well I’m okay with that but most importantly famished because well I’ve connived my stomach is a black hole because I can’t be the only one who eats then is instantly hungry.
I’ll be sharing my journey, my thoughts, my troubles, my easy go-to recipes, my travels, workouts, and this lifestyle through my eyes. I won’t claim to be perfect, there are always highs and lows just like anything else you do, but I will try my very best to be transparent and to talk about things as if you were my friend… and not a computer screen.
Feel free to let me know anything you want to read or have questions. Being new to this is exciting and nerve-wracking but I feel as though if I’m just honest you really can’t go wrong. Again, thanks for reading and getting this far. Even if this blog gets lost among the many millions. That is OK with me.
